Le Château du bois de Réaux
In 1855, Count Louis Jean Georges de Couëssin du Boisriou had a small modern château built, known as the "Château du Bois de Réaux", a short distance from the old monastery, for the marriage of his son Alexandre Louis to Cécile Dezas de la Roquette.
Two corbelled turrets frame the main building on the Loire side, while two large square towers stand at the ends of the other facade.
The château can only be visited on request and during the European Heritage Days. Inside, there is a temporary exhibition of earthenware from Nevers, Gien and elsewhere.
