Musée paysan de la Bourgogne Nivernaise "Ferme de Cadoux"
An old 15th-century barn and farm buildings, located along the historic old N7, are home to the Nivernais Rural Life Museum. It's an unusual and surprising museum, where you'll find old peasant trades, as well as wool and hemp work, spinning and weaving, and the tools of the tinker, cooper, wheelwright and clog-maker. There's also an area devoted to nannies, with old wooden toys, baby accessories and lace-making.
The museum also features a number of exhibitions, including one entitled "From wheat to bread", which features around fifteen paintings depicting the different phases of work from harvesting wheat to making bread.
