Domaine des Athénées

Located in Cosne-cours-sur-Loire, the Domaine des Athénées welcomes you for a wine tasting from Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm. A visit to the cellar or a walk through the vines are also available by prior arrangement.
Group visits are also possible, subject to prior booking (maximum 25 people).
As a general rule, it's always best to call ahead to make sure the winemaker can accommodate you!
Please note: the estate is closed at weekends and on public holidays.

The Domaine des Athénées cultivates 8.5 hectares of vines and is also a major educational centre for students at Cosne's agricultural and viticultural lycée, who play an active role in the various activities involved in the winemaking profession. The students even make their own cuvée.
The estate offers several appellations from the Centre Loire: Sancerre and Coteaux du Giennois, as well as sparkling wines produced using the traditional method.
