The Grain Library presents "Travelling plants".
Plants have developed a wealth of inventions to perpetuate their species, some jumping over hurdles or acting as stowaways. Thanks to trade, conquests, pilgrimages and translations of manuscripts, plant species have been introduced to Europe from Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.
