Journées du Patrimoine de Pays : tours et détours à Cosne

For several years now, the Musée de la Loire has been taking part in the Journées du Patrimoine de Pays (Local Heritage Days), offering events based on the national themes chosen.
This year, the theme of Tours et détours gives the museum and the archives the opportunity to put together a unique tour in the form of a wink!
Speaking of winks, you'll need two of them, preferably eyes wide open and upright, and legs to get around the museum and the town... On the programme is a little tour and some detours, and we promise we'll have more than ONE trick up our sleeve, the perfect opportunity to take a tour...ism and complete a tour of honour of Cosne town centre.
We'll start with a quick tour of the religious buildings, bell towers and spiral staircases, then turn around and take a look at the military buildings, including the Count of Nevers' castle and the Bishop of Auxerre's fortifications. Finally, we'll finish with a quarter-turn around a few private mansions overlooking backyards here and a mysterious dovecote there...
