A centre for nature and the environment, the Pavillon du Milieu de Loire is a visitor centre and events venue based in Pouilly-sur-Loire, at the heart of the Val de Loire Nature Reserve.
Every year, the Environmental Education Service team offers a varied programme of nature, educational, scientific and artistic exhibitions.
In addition to the two temporary exhibition rooms, the Pavillon du Milieu de Loire has a permanent exhibition space dedicated to the Val de Loire Nature Reserve.
The Environmental Education Department also offers nature activities for the general public throughout the year.
The little extras at the Pavillon du Milieu de Loire :
- A nature shop (books, games, etc.)
- A refreshment/grocery corner (organic and/or local produce)
- A themed tourist information point
- A documentation centre and colouring area for children
- A shaded picnic area.
Opening times: 5 April to 2 November.
During school holidays:
- Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday: 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm.
April and All Saints' Day holidays:
- Every day from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5.30pm.
Summer holidays:
- Every day: 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm.
