a need for freshness
In a lake in the heart of the Puisaye forests or in a swimming pool, we all jump into the deep end. And for those who don't like the water, the sandbanks of the Loire welcome them for sunny siestas.

Swimming pools
In Donzy, in summer, you can enjoy an open-air pool. You'll find a relaxation area - solarium, picnic tables, a 25 m pool with 5 swimming lanes and a learning pool (0.60 to 1.30 m deep). And for those with a sweet tooth, ice-cream sales...
Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire has indoor pools all year round.

Swimming in the Loire is dangerous
Warning: the Loire is the last wild river in Europe. Swimming in the Loire is prohibited. In fact, despite its tranquil appearance, it conceals pools of water, eddies and culs de grève. It's easy to lose your footing and get swept away by the current. You can take advantage of the beaches, but be careful and don't swim.

Where can you find the best homemade ice creams?
In Cosne Cours sur Loire, Rue du Commerce and Boulevard de la République, ice creams at Nathalie's and Boulangerie Bourgeois. You'll also find ice creams at Le Carré d'As bar, and for Italian-style, head to Le Beguin. On the left bank of the Loire, we love Pinard's ice creams in Saint-Satur. In Pouilly sur Loire at La Biquette and Les Craquants du Val de Loire.
We'll give you one more: ice creams at Confiserie du Prieuré in La Charité-sur-Loire aren't bad at all ;).
